Hi David - I appreciate your mission. I started writing hikes for our local paper, the Cheyenne Tribune Eagle, to encourage people to get out and enjoy the country around us. Most of the content of our blog appeared in the paper first.

You are welcome to take our pages if you place a link to the original on your site.

My wife and I enjoyed a great week poking around the Daintree and diving the reef out of Cairns. Your jungles are a bit daunting for a dry land guy like me.

Hi Roger,

My name is David Rutter, and I am one of the directors of The Outdoor Type, an Australian company that is dedicated to helping people experience the outdoors. Currently, we have an online magazine where we described our adventures, discuss topics, and provide information
for our readers.

We are currently building another website which will provide details of outdoor places and activities across the globe. We plan to make money from advertising on the website, and distribute a portion of that money to people who provide information for the website, thus helping outdoor types across the world make money from doing something they love.

We are looking for people who would like to contribute to the website by providing information on hiking trails, camping sites, places to go climbing, diving, surfing, and mountain biking – basically provide information on the things they love to do.

I taken a look at your blog, and given the wealth of information you have, I thought you'd be ideal to contribute to our
upcoming website. You will retain the copyright to your information and photography, the only condition would be that you don't give the same information to any of our competitors, but you'd be free to put the information on your own websites, and in any publications you might produce. What do you think ? Feel free to ask me any questions you might have.

Thank you and regards,
